Halifax Regional Municipality:

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada is the city where I was born and raised, and where I currently live. It is my home, and I love everything it has given to me, and that I hope I have given back to it and will always give back to it. If I was not born in and if I did not grow up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, I would not be who I am, and my Heroes of Destiny books would not be what they are — that is assuming I would ever have written them at all, had I not been born in, from, and of this one-of-a-kind, in-a-class-by-itself, city that is Halifax. I'm so proud to be a Haligonian (and of course I'm proud to be Nova Scotian, and Canadian, too!)

Dalhousie University:

Dalhousie University is an internationally recognized and respected post-secondary educational institution located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; it is one of the oldest universities in Canada, and in the world; and it is the university from which I graduated. The logo above is the official Crest of Dalhousie / Coat-of-Arms of Dalhousie. The motto of Dalhousie University is contained in this Crest / Coat-of-Arms; Ora et LaboraPray and Work. Praying for and working towards achieving my many dreams in life, this motto speaks to my heart, as does this university — my university: Dalhousie University.

Dalhousie University Faculty of Computer Science:

I graduated from — and hence I am an alumnus of — the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University. The image above is one that should be all-too-familiar to anyone who took Computer Science at Dalhousie; the image is of the silver, front doors that lead into the 24-hour-a-day / 7-days-a-week Dalhousie University Computer Science Building (CSB). I practically lived at the CSB for the 4 years I took my computer science degree at Dal (short for "Dalhousie"), and even after graduating with my CS degree I still spent much time at the CSB — mostly writing my Heroes of Destiny, Episode I: Eternal Knights book.

Halifax Public Libraries:

Halifax Public Libraries is the official library services organization for the Halifax Regional Municipality and its surrounding areas in the province of Nova Scotia. Three copies of my Heroes of Destiny, Episode I: Eternal Knights book are entered into the Halifax Public Libraries system / organization. The first copy is located at the Keshen Goodman Public Library (330 Lacewood Drive; Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; (902) 490-5738); the second copy is located at the Spring Garden Road Memorial Public Library (5381 Spring Garden Road; Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; (902) 490-5700); and the third copy is located at the Bedford Public Library (15 Dartmouth Road (Wardour Centre); Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada; (902) 490-5757). If any given copy of my Heroes of Destiny, Episode I: Eternal Knights book is already borrowed / checked out, you can place your name on that copy's respective waiting list, and the instant my book becomes available you can take it out. To place your name on any given copy's wait list, just phone the respective library or visit the library in-person and have one of the friendly librarians assist you. Or, to place your name on a wait list via the Internet, just go to the link above for the official Halifax Public Libraries website, type in Heroes of Destiny in the "Find It" field, and then hit the enter key on your keyboard or click the "Find It" button on your screen. On the next screen, just click the link that says "Heroes of destiny. Episode I, Eternal knights / Kevin Wong.", and then on my book's information page click the "Place hold" button; on the subsequent screen, you can reserve my book (to do this you will need a Halifax Public Libraries library card, which you can get in-person at any library branch; by telephoning any library branch; or via the "Get a Card" section on the official Halifax Public Libraries website). Should this be more convenient for you, you can even make a Transit Request for my Heroes of Destiny, Episode I: Eternal Knights book through any given library branch, and thereby have any given Halifax Public Libraries copy of my Heroes of Destiny, Episode I: Eternal Knights book sent for free to your local / nearest Halifax Public Libraries branch. In any event, should you borrow it from the library, I truly hope that you will enjoy reading my Heroes of Destiny, Episode I: Eternal Knights book!

Frontier College:

Frontier College is a renowned Canadian organization whose sole and honourable mission is to improve the literacy skills of all people, particularly children and young people, and infuse and / or grow a love for reading in any person the organization's volunteers help. I myself am a volunteer for and of Frontier College, and I state that fact with the highest sense of pride and honour that I could ever possibly express. Frontier College is truly one of the great organizations in the world, and of course in Canada.

The Olympics:

I am a huge fan of sports, and in particular, I am an immeasurable fan of the The Olympics. The Olympic Games symbolize unity, patriotism, and striving to achieve one's dreams in life. For all these reasons, as well as the infinite beauty and spectacle of the Olympic Games themselves, I love The Olympics. I hope you do, too!

The Toronto Raptors:

Basketball is my favourite sport, and the Toronto Raptors are my favourite basketball team. They are also Canada's team, and for both reasons, I wholeheartedly support the Raptors (or the "Raps" for short), and I watch them whenever I can! I hope you do too!

The Tragically Hip:

The Tragically Hip are quite simply the greatest band in the world. If you haven't heard of The Tragically Hip, you have no idea what — and who — you are missing, and you should visit their official website above to remedy that void. And if you have heard of, or better yet, if you are a fan of "The Hip" (as they are known to their fans), then you should visit their official website daily, because every day a new live Hip song is posted in their Hip music player (which is launched by clicking the "Song of the Day" / "Launch Music Player" image / icon on the right side of their homepage). I hope after visiting The Hip's site you will become one of their newest fans, or you will just find yourself that much more addicted to them!

Romance of the Three Kingdoms:

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is quite simply the greatest novel / book in the world. (Well, it's tied with my novel / book — Heroes of Destiny — for that title anyways!) The website above is incredible because it contains the entire 120 chapter Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel online, and it's completely free for anyone to read this content! If you aren't going to buy or borrow a copy of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I highly recommend that you read it online via the above website — if even just to see whether you will like to buy or borrow the book in real-life — because I assure you, if you read it, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is one of the greatest pieces — if not the greatest piece — of literature you will ever read in your entire life.

Do you have, work for, or know of a website to which I have not linked, and that you believe I would appreciate? If so, please send me an e-mail at business@kevinwong.ca letting me know the website's address, and also please write a synopsis telling me about the website. If the website is appealing to me, then I will link to it accordingly!

In any event, now that you've visited some or all of my favourite websites, I hope that you understand more about what I like — and who I am!

Kevin Wong
